Reviews
Write a ReviewEven though they were extremely busy they managed to fit us in and get our repair completed. We were very happy with the plumber who came out to repair. He explained everything he was doing.
great job
.
Dan was amazing! Brennan was terrific on his team, too! Great work! Great product recommended on the tankless water heater. Very pleased and will call them again for plumbing needs.
I contacted Home Advisor on a Saturday about a leaking water heater, and got a response right away from Right Now. And it was smooth sailing from there. They confirmed on Sunday and were done with the installation by noon on Monday. Efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, focused, attentive. I like their style! I'll keep going back for more we need additional plumbing services.
My very important factors (#1 safety, #2 adherence to latest county code, #3 quality of work, #4 explanation & engagement, #5 on-time/efficiency, #6 no NEW pressure or up-selling) were met by this RightNOW team. So it's worth the $2.4k job estimate. In detail: Coordinated estimate, schedule, and water heater tank type with Nick. Nick was extremely flexible and understanding in the all my questions. Highly reco talking with Nick, as he was available to chat anytime; was surprised he responded to my call on Sunday afternoon too. The quote from RightNow did beat another contractor, so I decided to go with Nick's quote. Other factors included the info-exchange of tank manufacturers, flexibility, and no pressure sell representation. The water heater was not finalized until after I placed in the initial 30% payment. Nick helped narrow down to 2 candidates tank models; Bradford White 50Gal, State 50Gal. Even though RightNOW has a relationship with Bradford White, I selected State water heater GS6-50-YRVIT because the first hour rate, EF, and energy star + LEED rating was just more important to me. The biggest improvement from my old to new water natural gas tank is increase from 83 to 97 Gal in first hour rate, .65 to .72 in EF, and better energy star rating. This was very much helped by an increase in BTU input from 40k to 50k for the new water heater. And what is more pleasantly surprising are the RightNOW techs (Jacob & Josh) that efficiently completed the job. Jacob & Josh arrived within the 2 hour window, re-looked updated pics of the current water heater specs & room before arriving, and completed the remove & install of the water heater in ~3 hours. This was the most efficient process I've seen. They used protected socks on their shoes and dolly the whole time. The copper pipe crimp gun was a most impressive tool and what helped them get the job done so fast because the wait for sealants to set is negated in this case. Jacob & Josh prepped the heater (e.g. drain, walk-thru, etc.) and started the cutting and replacement. Since both old and new tanks were manufactured by State, the placement of the connecting pipes were nearly identical. And since the new tank is a power vent, the same 3inch flue was used and easily adjusted by Josh & Jacob to fit. The only exception to all the pipe fittings is the expansion tank pipe which was fitted on an elbow on the copper cold water intake pipe (and I am very happy that Jacob & Josh used a 6 inch pipe to give extra & proper support to the the expansion tank so it wouldn't accidentally collapse & bend the elbow copper pipe if it gets too heavy over time). **One of the most important factors in my 5star review is that Josh & Jacob explained what was code for a couple questions I had. Anytime, I can learn something, I feel at ease and Josh & Jacob helped me learned something.** After the new tank was installed and initially getting filled with cold water, Jacob/Josh directed me to
Jimbo was very professional, courteous. Nick was also very informative and knowledgeable. Very pleased
Called in less than 5 minutes from HomeAdvisor search. Very quick response. Nick answered all my questions and gave me some options. He said they could install it that day. Their service tech James M. provided outstanding service. James was very courteous and learned he had over 20 years experience. He was in and out in less than 2 hours. It took longer to drain the water heater than the install. I plan to have additional work done in the near future. Don't waste your time looking for another company. RightNow is RightOn!
Quick response to contact request. job price was as quoted. same day service, technicians worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done right.
