water heater went out on Thurs night, he came right away and had it done in 1 hr.

He did a great job, very quick and efficient, and I am happy with the results. But it was too pricey!

Custom Pumbing of Arizona will not give you a price before coming in person to your project site. When they see what the actual job involves ( information which I provided more than enough of before they arrived ) they immediately quoted a high price ( in this case $205.00 ) for approximately 1/2 hour work plus the service call. They acted as if they knew we did not have time to postpone the project and that we would consider the getting it done immediately and off the books to be better than avoiding the financial screwing we were getting for that convenience. The last contractor who did a much more complicated & harder job under our kitchen sink replacing our garbage disposal with a heavy commercial grade one for a fee of $75.00 and very professional conduct left us with a much nicer memory and we recommended him online and by word of mouth which provided him with much more work. As a whole, the guys who were here from Custom seemed like nice people and did a good job installing the new faucet kit. I wish them and their company the best and hope they change the way they take projects in such a way that it eliminates any chance of getting more work or recommendations from us in the future. Too bad, they have the talent to do so in my opinion.

Prompt, called to let me know they were on their way, cleaned up after project complete. Very nice and professional.

Ask up front what are the risks of something going wrong. My plumber was competent and professional. But, he didn't know that there was a possibility that older pipe and fittings might break when disturbed. I'd have let the faucet drip forever rather than end up paying $1,500 to fix it.
