I am a current (but not for long) customer of TruGreen. I contacted them on May 18, 2017, to perform a one-time aeration of my small (<500 sq. ft.) lawn. I paid in advance to save money. They were supposed to perform the work within a week; it was not. I called them a week later, and they said I would have the service performed last week. So far, nothing. I called them June 5, 2017, and the agent said I wasn't on the schedule. How can that be? I've already paid for the service, and if I had never called, they would have never performed the service. In my opinion, that's either ineptness, or carelessness. Unacceptable. Since the work hasn't been done, I can't rate the quality.
Very friendly and listened to my needs and desired outcome for my lawn.
As many customer ratings show, TruGreen promises much, delivers little. The amount of time we had to stay on the phone listening to company promises in advance, exceeded the time spent on the only visit, which, despite assurances to the contrary, came unannounced and without the promised advance "walkover." A week from yesterday, we called the company, complained, received an apology, and were promised someone would be contacting us and scheduling the walkover. That still hasn't happened. On the only visit, the truck concerned had no TruGreen logo, and we must assume it was some gypsy subcontractor. No warning sign was left on the lawn, so that we weren't sure that TruGreen was claiming to have done the work done until an e-mail came.
Experience is favorable so far. Just began using service.
Timely. Don't have much to say as they just started. I live in SD, but I also have another home in Brighton CO and I have hired them for that house also.
Be careful of up selling with Tru Green. They are big on multiple services.
Estimate was below what I expected. Work to be done was fully explained. I get a phone call advising me what day work will be done. This is very convenient. The employee who did the aeration and seeding was very professional. Glad I contracted with True Green.
