Write a ReviewGreat Professional service
Asked for fertilization and lime at time of aeration, which booking agent agreed. However, appointment did not show after 8 days, so I had to call to get a date, but still could not see details, so unable to see that fertilization had not been scheduled. Service technicians were great; came promptly after text arrived, took only 10 minutes to aerate, and entire lawn aerated with no damage to sprinkler heads, etc. However price appeared to be based on lot size, 8100sqst, but lawn to be aerated only 1800 sqft. So overall, without fertilization and for such small area in total, service was both overpriced and incomplete. Technology features (online reg, viewing of schedule and contract, and text notifications) were not helpful in preventing these back office deficiencies. I would not recommend this service.
Talking to the sales rep, I was told this service was for the entire yard, driveway weeds and weedy grasses. Only the lawn was treated. I called back and was told they would return and spray the weeds that are on the property but not the lawn. They came out but sprayed the lawn again not the remaining weeds. The lawn treatment was great.
TruGreen uses professional sales people who are very persistent and forceful in trying to sell you their products.
The guy did not call us to let us know that they were coming and also, we did not know that they had showed up until they put the invoice on our door.
I paid for lawn aeration in February. I was told on the phone that it was currently too cold at night for the seeds to germinate and that they would call me in March to schedule my service. Well, by the end of April, when I realized that they had never called, I called them. They said, Oops, you were put in as a FALL aeration instead of spring. So that is why they have never come. So the friendly, helpful (working from home) woman changed it on the computer, but said it would take 24 hours for it to update and THEN I would get a call when my appt would be. She could not just schedule me. So a week later, when I had not gotten a call, I called again. Another friendly (working from home) man apologized and offered to correct it. But he could not find a spot for me on the schedule either. So more than 2 months after I paid, I still had no scheduled date. I told him I had had enough and to please just refund my money. He cannot do that either; he can only make a request, and someone else is supposed to call me about it. I can not call them. He is unable to transfer me to them. I have to wait for them to call me so I can get a refund. What a racket!! I used TruGreen years ago and it was not like this.
I called for an estimate and spent the next 45 minutes on the phone trying to zoom in photos with the agent once that was done she continued to barrage me with phone calls for the next 3 hours after I had told her to stop calling me I had to eventually block it I will not I will never use the service again horrendous.
No details yet as just started
Don’t know yet
Not thrilled. 4 years of treatment and lawn still has tons of weeds everywhere and bald spots when I've paid for overseeding and aeration for last 3 years.
