Good Service
I received a call from Brian. He wanted me to pay him before I had seen anything in writing as to the service to be provided. I gave him my credit card, but explained that my social security check would not arrive until June 15th. He said he would hold the check and not run it through until the 15th. However, he ran it through on the 6th, causing financial difficulties for me. I called Brian, the District Manager, the Home Office as well as e-mailed them. I received no response from any of them until more than a week later. Since that time, 2 service people have arrived at my house to provide service. Had I not been home, they would have gone ahead with the service. Obviously, they had not been informed that the contract had been cancelled the week before. I have been told by several of my friends who have experiences with trugreen that once they get ahold of you, they find ways to keep you on the hook.
They are happy to set up the service but then don't come unless you call repeatedly. Not good service at all.
They've onlu y come once so far but my weeds are dying and the lawn is starting to look better!
The call center customer services left a lot to be desired, but when I got a personal call from my account manager, everything got better!
Everyone has been very nice, the techs who provide the service and the people in the office. Since I've only had one treatment, I can only say the work was done and the weeds in the lawn are showing signs of dying. My back yard is loaded with weeds so I know it'll take time to get a beautiful lawn again. I do wish people wouldn't plant Ivy in their yard then not take care of it. I want it gone from my yard!!!
The call center is terrible, but I had great communication with the local field office that would actually do the work. I had an issue where the lawn pro only sprayed my front yard and didn't even do the backyard (I don't know why; there are no gates, fences, or anything to block someone from going back there, and I had requested my whole yard be done), so I had to go through the call center again. They heavily emphasize empathy with the customer, saying things like, "I understand you'd be upset over this...," but it seems like they focus more on that than getting to the root of my problem. It's best to get the local number for your TruGreen specialists and call them directly rather than going through the main call center. The job that was done on the front yard is already looking great, however, as I can see all of my broadleaf wild violet turning brown, even one day after application. I'm excited to see my new, pretty lawn emerge!
It works perfect for me. I don't have to be there when they treat my lawn. They let me know when the next treatment will be done, they do it, and leave a summary of the work they did. Once the work is done, my credit card gets charged. I have seen the change in my lawn and I love it! Best of all, I don't have to worry about it, I just have to enjoy it.
