I hired Bumble Bee to fix clothes washer drain. The repairman found that the attachment to my boiler was leaking. Also the outside water pressure was not functioning. He replaced all without me having to call again for service. They were courteous and professional.

ALERT! ALERT! Home advisor quoted a price of $130.00 after describing the repair needed. Upon arrival Bumble Bee quoted $400 + $39 service call. Bumble Bee said that Home Advisor is constantly misquoting charges putting the customer in an embarrassing situation.

Good afternoon Richard! We are so glad we were able to help you out with your leak, and we're so sorry regarding the confusion. We agree the HomeAdvisor website can be a little misleading! I have reached out to HomeAdvisor about this as well and let them know it was been confusing to customers. We were advised that the guaranteed price contracts are only for certain contractors that HomeAdvisor chooses after receipt of payment from the customer. The customer does not choose their contractor in those situations. We actually do not participate in that program because we feel it is in the best interest of our customers to fully evaluate the situation and provide an up-front price so that there are no surprises. We apologize again for the confusion this situation caused. We do appreciate you bringing this up so that others are aware!

I called them on New Years Eve in the morning after discovering a leaking hot water heater. They responded that afternoon and replaced the unit. Great service from technician, Ken Brown! Bumble bee will be my plumber from now on.

Bumble Bee came out on short notice to change out my leaky water heater. All plumbing deficiencies were corrected on the spot. Friendly service with a follow-up call to make sure that I was satisfied with their work.
