While the dispatch person and tech who did the work were highly responsive, beware of their pricing tactics. This company charged me $400 to install a garbage disposal! I even supplied the disposal unit. I did provide my verbal authorization over the phone to charge my card when the work was finished on a Fri evening trusting that they were charging a fair price. Over the weekend, I researched and found the average price for such a job should run around $150. I also found another patron s review of this company where they, too, were initially quoted an excessive rate and had to haggle with the tech to get the price down to a fair one. I called Monday morning to talk to a manager who hung up on me when I was explaining what happened and asked him to reconsider their price. Very unprofessional. Just know they ll price gouge you unless you re prepared to haggle with them. No way to run a reputable business.
They gave me an estimate and two days later were able to come out and complete the work. They did a great job!
They are a Military Friendly company. A small leak that I tried to put off was beginning to get worse. When I saw the small leak which was now a significant leak, I began to worry. I had to get this leak fixed, today. When I was a renter for many years I just called the property management office and they would send somebody, usually with no name on the truck, or uniform or great skills. As a new homeowner I wanted the job done right. After reading many reviews and seeing their trucks out and about previously, I knew who to call, Bumble Bee Plumbing. The initial call was taken by a caring, friendly voice and she (So sorry as I can't remember her name) had compassion for what I was going through. I just moved in here about a month ago and already a pipe began to leak at the backyard faucet. It was a bit stressful as I thought "Oh Great, Now I have to deal with this." The person that took my call put me at ease and told me to go about my day and that they would keep me aware of when the repairmen would arrive. I had the water shut off at the main valve to the house so I departed. Later, they sent me a text message when the guy was on his way which allowed me to get out of the house and go to lunch. Once the guys (Jesus and Andrew) arrived they took a look at the leak to assess the problem. They made a plan and explained everything to me before they started any work. Once they had my approval the work began and before long it was complete. I then looked over the work performed and they explained everything they did and why. They asked if I had any questions. They also offered different ways to pay for the work. I took a chance with Bumble Bee Plumbing and will most definitely call them again. The work was done to my satisfaction and is guaranteed. The best part is the guys Bumble Bee Plumbing sent to my home. They are professional (clean cut, wearing a uniform and respectful), technically proficient and personable. They didn't come here and try to razzle dazzle me with technical lingo or condescending explanations. It was honest service from the techs, Jesus and Andrew. This is a company I will choose to trust for my plumbing needs. Thank you Bumble Bee Plumbing. This Retired Army Veteran is Very Pleased with the work Andrew and Jesus performed during their visit to my home on 20 May 2020.
This company is a superior plumbing company! From the friendly office staff to Ken, the highly compentant, efficient and caring plumber this company shows that they truly care about their customers. We could not be more impressed with Bumble Bee Plumbing and will highly recommend them.
Good communication by phone and email. Professional job & great staff, too.
Michael and staff were polite, efficient, professional and got the job done. They were extremely respectful of the new COVID19 guidelines and wore masks, foot covers and gloves. They replaced our toilet without incident and could not have been more courteous and informative. Thank you so much.
