Experienced knocking in pipes after service call for leak and the source of the leak was never found but, great customer service.
Response from Company:
Thank you for your review! We understand that plumbing repairs can be expensive, and that is why we always give you options for needed repairs - the Good, Better, Best type of options - to better suit your financial considerations. We also back up our work with the best & longest warranty in the area, and that has real value! The simple truth is that we charge as the market we live in demands, no more, no less. Take care, and have a blessed and wonderful day!

Overall just a good company
Response from Company:
Our pricing is based on the market we live in - if we did not charge enough, we would be out of business, and if we charged too much, no one would use us. That is why we always give you options (that include the price) - the good, better, best variety - BEFORE the work is started, that way you choose which option & price best fit your needs, and you have the professional diagnosis to keep for the future if you want to look around. We try to be as fair as we can, and that is why we also stand behind our work with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, and the longest and best warranty in the area for any work we do. If there is anything we can do please give us a call and we will help in any way we can. Thank you for using Benjamin Franklin Plumbing! Have a blessed day!

Nick provided excellent service and walked me through everything that he did. Also gave me tips on what to look out for in case another situation arises with my vent pipe and water heater.

After 3 of their plumbers came out to assess my plumbing issues-the first one charged me $600-they decided my lines were cracked and it would cost me $40,000+ to fix it. Being a 70 yr old widow on a fixed income, there was no way. I feel like from the first they took advantage and my kitchen sink drainage problem was NEVER fixed at all. I had another plumber come out to assess the problem. He listened to the facts, ran his auger through the line 2x and my kitchen sink drains beautifully! I feel Ben Franklin was a rip-off!!!
Response from Company:
You clearly did not understand what our plumber was speaking to you about, or the estimate he left, because none of what you stated was true. Here are the invoice notes from the plumber: "Ran handheld and could not clear. Ran bigger machine and ran cable all the way to clean outs. Inspected clean outs and found they are close to septic tank and full of solid buildup. Customers system is aerobic but it hasn?t worked in years or been cleaned out. Informed customer to have septic pumped out and repaired and we can come back out if problem still persists". We do not have the ability to pump septic systems. After 5 days you called us back out under warranty, and here are the plumbers invoice notes: "Investigated to find kitchen line was backed up. Augured line and could not restore flow from cleanout on back side of kitchen. Looked at other options to reroute. Line and the existing plumbing in room is used for organ room that was never hooked up. Left customer estimate for 75? tunnel under home to replace cast iron sewer line". I know you think the other company did you right, but they did not. I can say that because two issues were revealed by us, two issues we gave you a quote for, and two issues you still have. 1) The plumbing for the organ room was never hooked up. 2) Your sewer line is cast iron. Cast iron cannot be repaired, it must be replaced. If not, it will continue to deteriorate until it is absolutely unusable. Neither of those two things are an opinion, they are facts supported by evidence. Cheaper is not always better, because in the end, you get what you pay for. I am sorry that you believe telling you about your issues, and giving you a cost to repair them, is taking advantage of you. It most certainly was not. It's doing our job, the job you called us out to do, not a band-aid fix. If you would like to speak further about this, please call the office and ask to speak to a Manager. We will be happy to go over everything with you, including the estimate given as well. I hope you have a blessed and wonderful day!

Thank you for your review! We understand that plumbing repairs can be expensive, and that is why we always give you options for needed repairs - to better suit your financial considerations. We also back up our work with the best & longest warranty in the area! It is also important to learn that not just anyone can make plumbing repairs, some things are best left to professionals. I am sorry that plumbing repairs are too expensive for you, but the simple truth is that if we charged too much, no one would use us, and if we charged too little, we would be out of business. We charge as the market we live in demands, no more, no less. We are sorry that is unaffordable for you, or that you see no value in professional work with professional results, and the best warranty in the area. We are braving the trying times we find ourselves in, but still seem to find that sometimes some cannot see that we are there for them. We hope you have a blessed and wonderful day!
