The company sent out an unlicensed plumber with a helper to do the repair. I checked with TSBPE after the repair and the person was an apprentice and did not hold a license. I asked if the plumber that gave the estimate would be the repair plumber and I was assured that it would be. When they arrived I asked where Klee Berry was and was told that he was on the way. He never arrived. I called called to let them know that they failed to clean up properly and that they took an item that was not theirs. I was told that a person named Steve would call. On the 3rd call I was told he was in the field and would call. The project was done on Dec. 27, 2022. I have not received any communication from the Benjamin Franklin Plumbing or Steve their representative since then. They have no problem taking your money but do not provide customer service response to your complaints. Very unethical to send an apprentice to do a plumbing repair without a licensed plumber.

Your plumber was absolutely not unlicensed. The helper, or apprentice, was, but that is true for most apprentices. He is working towards his license. We use apprentices to install work because this is how they earn enough knowledge and hours to become licensed themselves. We lay out for them what to do, are available for them if they have any questions, and call and come by to check on the job's progress whenever we can. We did call and address your concerns, and we let you know we stand by our work with the longest and best guarantee in the Metroplex. We let you know we would replace your broom and dustpan that came up missing and offered to send a manager or supervisor out to inspect the work for your peace of mind. The work was begun and completed on the same day. We attempted to help you every time you called in (2) and were extremely responsive to your complaints, even having the service manager call you directly to speak with you about your concerns. Your last comment is simply untrue and uncalled for. We have a live person on the phone 24/7; we have supervisors, managers, and plumbers you can speak with, but it seems it took longer than you thought it should. For that, we apologize. We try to never call our technicians when they are in another customer's home, and we certainly would not have them call you from someone else's home, and this caused an undue delay in reaching you. We are not always perfect, but we always try to make it right. We are not unethical in sending an apprentice; it is practically the industry standard, and this is how we keep people and ensure they are properly trained: Apprentice-Journeyman- Mastery is still the best way, even if you do not value it, and is certainly not unethical. We are glad we got to speak with you, and we hope you have a blessed day!

I highly recommend them for any plumbing problem. They repaired sink pipe in the kitchen and replace the pipe. Now I can wash dishes I recommend him to anyone i know.
