The plumber arrived within the hour, found the problem and fixed it quickly. When I saw their name I remembered we had hired Benjamin Franklin before, the were fantastic, that time too. He was quick and worked fast after assessing my problem.

Very professional. I got a call from them within minutes of posting on Home Advisor. Got the job done the next morning, the cost was reasonable.

Although they told me the fix I had made was temporary they description of what they would do, was much more than what they did, they charged me $160 for placing a washer in the pipe to keep it from leaking. I was told there was more detail involved.

    Response from Company:

I am so sorry you had a bad experience! We are always up front and honest in our pricing and assessment, and his is the exact reason that we presented all pricing to you before any work was started. I see that you then approved the scope of work (before the work was started) by signature, and I that you viewed and approved the work done by (again, by signature), and then paid us. We did exactly what we said we would do, for exactly what we said we would do it for, came on time as scheduled, and gave you the best warranty in the area. If there is something we can help you with, or something I missed, please call! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review!

This company is prompted and professional, I just moved into a home that had a number of issues. Many my husband can do most of these repairs, however thought if we could get someone out it would be very helpful. We had a water leak under our rental trailer, outside faucet leaking from seal and broken seal inside bathroom faucet. We only had them fix the water leak in the rental as the rest of the service was too expensive to justify.

    Response from Company:

I am sorry that you feel the pricing was too high. Our pricing is based on the market we live in - if we did not charge enough, we would be out of business, and if we charged too much, no one would use us. That is why we always give you options (that include the price) - the good, better, best variety - BEFORE the work is started, that way you choose which option & price best fit your needs, and you have the professional diagnosis to keep for the future when your financial options have increased. We try to be as fair as we can, and that is why we also stand behind our work with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, and the longest and best warranty in the area for any work we do. I see you realize that with your Quality rating, and your Customer Service rating, but if there is anything we can do to increase the value rating - please give us a call @817.784.1249, and we will help in any way we can. Thank you for using Benjamin Franklin Plumbing! Have a blessed day!

Technician showed up on time. Completed the work, I had him fix a leaky shower head in master bath. Part of the sales pitch is they check all the faucets without being asked. They leave, I go into the spare bathroom where the toilet was fixed to find the tub faucet dripping. I would have thought according to there hype this would have been checked. NOT! Called the office fairly angry to get a snippy gal whose response was we can send him back out and he will give you an estimate and you can accept or tell him to leave. He did maybe an hours work and charged $540 bucks. Would not recommend unless you have lots of time to sit around waiting for repeats that they claim they check each time.

    Response from Company:

You were informed that the service fee we charge guarantees the appointment window, includes a safety inspection on the plumbing in your home, and a water quality test, and all this was done. The real issue, as you mentioned in the brief discussion you allowed us to have, was that you said the plumber missed something on the inspection, did not speak to you about the safety inspection results, and the CSR was snippy. We may have missed the other dripping faucet for lots of reasons ranging from: 1) he just outright missed it, to 2) it is possible the drip was not occurring at the time he did look at it. Regardless, we will absolutely address this issue in his training, and will ensure he goes over any results directly with customers in the future. To be clear, the inspection was done, and this is indicated on your service report by the recording of information such as your water pressure, the type of water heater you have, etc. I am sorry that he did not clearly go over this with you. The CSR on the phone was trying to offer you a courtesy visit to go over the entire safety inspection with you, so you would have peace of mind that it was done, but was unable to satisfy you with this. It is important to note that we are human beings, and while we try to never make a mistake, sometimes we fail. You admit you called in angry, and no one likes being screamed at. You were hit with a double whammy - not a great visit, and not a great phone conversation - and we are terribly upset that this was your experience. We have no problem coming back out and ensuring you know the condition of the plumbing in your home as we should have done the first time. As for how long the repairs he made took him, and what you were charged, let me remind you that all pricing and scope of work was given to you before any work was started. You approved the work to be done and the price to be paid by signature before any work was started. When the work was completed, you viewed and approved (as indicated by another signature), and paid us. We are a flat-rate plumbing company, and we do not have an hourly rate, we charge by the job. The plumber pulled & reset your toilet, replaced the wax ring, replaced your stop & supply line, diagnosed the bad flange, replaced the flange, and put it all back together for $274, and that includes the best warranty in the area. The rest of the amount ($274) went to replace a bad cartridge (a faucet stem rebuild), and the service fee was waived. That also has a great warranty. We are comparable to other plumbers in price, but we far excel in warranty. If you had a question concerning price why did you approve the work, including all pricing, 2 times by signature before the work was started? Why did you view & approve the work done, and the price (the same as your quote) by signature, and then pay us? Why did you not say a single thing about your concern over the price, or the time it took, to the plumber standing in your home? Please call us in th
