We came out and presented the price for your repair before any work was done, but did not have the part you needed in stock. We are sorry we did not have the part, but I am sure you understand that we cannot carry every plumbing part ever made, just the ones we need most often. Either way, with flat rate plumbing and a price presented to you beforehand, the time to pick up the part did not cost you extra money. The service fee, as you were told when the call was set up, is only to guarantee your appointment window, and we can waive it if we do the work for you. We would never charge you another service fee to come out the second time. Our vans carry thousands of parts, but with hundreds of manufacturers, types, styles, and ages, we cannot carry every single part ever made. Sorry for the inconvenience, but again, it did not cost you anything extra - either in time cost, part cost, or service fee cost.
