    Outrageous prices. They keep adding on to original quote. My flange did require repair, and the work was completed. I will not hire again!

    We have done work for two Sandra Davis'. For one we replaced a water heater, and for the other we installed a new garbage disposal. There is not enough information included here for me to determine what address this work was done at, but it appears we have not done a job for you. We always quote the price up front, in writing, and require your written approval to get started. Any changes (based on what we may find as work actually begins) is always presented before being started, including the cost, and an approval is obtained. We also have the best warranties on work in the area. If we did do work for you (maybe under another name?), please feel free to call me and take advantage of our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee!     You must have reviewed the wrong plumber, because we do not charge by the hour, nor do we have an hourly rate. We send out a licensed plumber, in our Warehouse on Wheels truck stocked with thousands of parts, he does a thorough exam of your issue, and once he determines what is needed to make your repair, he gives you a Straight Forward Price (flat rate price) in writing before any work is started. This is presented on an option sheet that detail the options you have, and lists the cost of each one. Once you select the option and cost you would like to proceed with, we ask that you approve it by initiling next to your selection. We then write up the work on a service report, detailing all that will be done, and listing the complete price (the same as the one you just approved by initials), and once your signature is affixed to the Work Authorization spot, we make the repair. After the repair has been made, we ask you to view and approve all work and clean up that was done, to ensure it was to your 100% satisfaction. This is approved by a second signature, and payment is collected. Based on our operating procedure, and commitment to serving our customers, you have to entered this review on the wrong company. If you feel I am in error, please call in to the office and ask for a Manager, and we will be glad to speak to you to resolve any issue you have. Have a blessed day!

    No repair was done because I actually figure out how to reset the thermometers before they arrived. I allowed them to inspect what I did to make sure it was correct. Then they offered great advice on what the problem might be and what to watch out for if the problem occurs again. Their quotes on potential fixes seemed high but over all great service.

    Way too expensive. I got calls from other Home Advisor businesses that quoted me a fraction over 3/4's what I paid Ben Franklin. There work is fine but would not quotes a price over the phone like the others. I kept the appointment because I honor a commitment I make to a company. When they arrive I was quoted 200 to unclog a toilet. The free trip charge I was promised was only if I did the work. So I feel they were not upfront with their policy. Live and learn. I will never use them again

    To be fair you were given the pricing up front and in writing before any work was done, as promised. We do not do quotes over the phone because our plumbers are in the field and our call takers are in the office, and quotes over the phone rarely work out in your favor. We keep our commitments to our customers too. The service fee being waived with work done was explained to you on your initial phone call to set up the appointment, and we even went back over it with you to be sure you understood. I can email you a copy of the phone recording if you would like, simply call in and ask for the Office Manager, and I will more than happy to assist you. We were entirely up front about everything. As for the price, we never claimed to be the cheapest plumber in the area, just the one that had the best warranties, guarantees, and plumbers! I am sorry you had a bad experience.
