Reviews
Write a ReviewI hope you are reading this, Bill Snyder... My experience with the company has been a mixed bag to be quite honest, there have been situations where I was pleased with their service, but to this day even after 6 PAID visits from this company to my home my A/C unit still does not function properly. Visit 1: ($49) on 08/07/2019 A/C Diagnostic: includes a highly-skilled (their words not mine, false advertising in my case) air conditioning specialist JUST to do the painfully hard work of driving to your residence to diagnose (very thoroughly, sarcastically speaking that is) the issue with the A/C. Visit 2: ($873) on 08/16/2019 Initially, the A/C unit was serviced with a Blower Control Board Replacement, followed by a Low Voltage Repair (Major) leading to the replacement of damaged Wiring. This wiring fix is what was sold back to me on 12/31/2019 once AGAIN even though this has been paid for in the past. So, they clearly do not stand by their work. Visit 3: ($132) on 08/26/2019 Fuse, a Short Circuit overloading mismatched loads for excessive current. $132 to replace a $3 fuse into the fuse box. Nothing short of greed here, with no room for reasonable billing. Visit 4: ($49) on 09/06/2019 A/C Diagnostic **another highly skilled** technician to swindle from the uninformed customer... Visit 5: ($300) on 10/09/2019 Surge Protection â Surprise!!! The $132 serviced fuse blows out again, and NOW the recommendation for the Surge Protection comes into the picture, So, it only took 2 **highly skilled professional visits** and an invoicing total of $181 in addition to the $300 billing to come to the conclusion that **hmm, maybe you need surge protection?** You can imagine how frustrated I would be at this point! I was livid! Visit 6: ($185) on 12/31/2019 Low Voltage Repair (Minor) â Do you remember seeing this fix somewhere before? YES! It was done back on 08/16/2019 and they yet again are trying me to sell me on the MAJOR fix once more. This was the last straw! I had paid $185 on 12/31/2019 and not even 2 weeks had passed on by and my A/C unit is out again. When I had contacted them that my A/C is non-functional once more, they did not even care to hear my necessity and blatantly started telling me that it will be a $49 minimum to come out and RE-FIX what they CHARGED me to fix before. I am perplexed that I was out $185 and still I am no better than I was 13 days ago. When questioned why I was not informed that this fix will not even last 2 weeks prior to charging my card, they came back to something irrelevant stating that it was recorded that this is temporary and that I had declined the long-term fix (quoted me $800). However, the fact remains that they had swindled me of $1,588, and I am back to where I started back on 08/16/2019. This company cares more about the sale than the satisfaction of the customer, BUYER BEWARE!
My five-year-old A/C unit failed.Velocity technician found that the refrigerant was depleted, but he could not locate the source of the leak. ,He replaced 11 pounds of Puron and charged me $980 which comes to $96/lb (discounted to $76/lb if a service contract was purchased). He also gave me an estimate of $2236 to search for the leak in the line connecting the compressor to the Air handler Ten days later my A/C Unit failed again.I called another company. They found that the recently installed refrigerant had evaporated. He found the leak in the compressor in 30 minutes, replaced 10 pounds of refrigerant charging me $100 ($10/lb) for the refrigerant. Velocity was INCOMPETENT in not detecting the leak which the other company found in 30 minutes. Their charges were massively EXORBITANT(charged $98/lb of refrigerant discounted to $76/lb with purchase of a service contract)The cost price charged by the other company was $10/lb!!! The company was dismissive about my complaint of their exorbitant charges for a botched repair job and concern about replacing refrigerant in the unit with an undetected leak. BE FULLY INFORMED
very prompt and they appear to be honest with no overselling. The technician came by for a quote and ended up staying and finishing what needed to be done on the spot. Gave me 100% confidence in him and the company. I would highly recommend them!!

They were very professional and explained things really easy.
The young man knew what he was doing. He showed us the problem. With his help we are getting a new system.
This company shows concern for customer, they are very prompt and flexible and do an excellent job. I have decided to continue using this company for my yearly maintenance.
