The service man was up front with me. He told me what I could be charged if I got two cans of freon. He also made me aware of the condition my air conditioner was in, and advise me to look forward of getting a new one in the near future.

Service call charge was, in my opinion, a bit high and research after the fact showed the capacitor installed much cheaper than what was charged. However, all things considered he was on time to the minute and very competent.

I noticed all the good reviews on home advisor and gave them a call. I had a bad experience from another ac company who gave me times they would be there and never show up or call to say they were running late. As I was trying to get my home cooled from the 88 it was at I called Velocity and dropped the other company. They called when things were running behind but made it to the house and stayed late until the job was finished. I knew what they were doing and they gave an explanation of everything. All the people we dealt with were professional and kind. They have on-call, work late, and answer calls on the weekend which is important here in Florida. Great company and we will stick with them in the future!
