Their response was immediate and they completely repaired our a/c problem. We had to handle this problem from out of state, and the communication concerning the problem, the repair, and follow up was complete.

Efficient, quality work for a fair price.
Velocity Air tried to scam me for unneeded repairs of over $400 when I had them do annual maintenance. They claimed this 10 month old heat pump system was low on refrigerant, thus needing refrigerant and a leak test (about $450 altogether). I was suspicious because of the high price of a recommended condensate line cleaning (also recommended for $160), so I had another company examine the system and found the refrigerant level was OK and no work was needed. I called to complain and was brushed off.

I hired them to replace my AC unit. They were prompt in responding to the home advisor request, came out the day I called and were helpful in scheduling the replacement. However, the day of the replacement, they sealed the filter access panel with putty without placing an air filter in the handler. I discovered the lack of filter only by checking the unit shortly after the team had left. Two days later the AC unit froze over. When I called in regarding the malfunction, it took them hours and multiple call backs to tell me that they couldn't come back until two days later to address the issue. On the day of the follow up, they were 45 minutes late & unclear on what had caused the issue. While the unit appears to be running now, this experience left a lot to be desired.
