A technician came to my house promptly at 8 am due to a non functioning ac unit. The unit was 18 yrs old and required a new compressor. I was provided 3 estimates from Velocity. I chose to replace the entire ac system. They installed the system the same day in about 4 hours.
It took the "senior technician" 30 minutes to remove the panels and another 10 minutes to s Stare at it. Technician couldn't find a certain tool and stated to me the medication he was on makes his mind cloudy. Before I told him to leave he stated that i needed the motor replaces. Called the people who installed it when they arrived the ✔d all and told me I needed a relay switch and had it repaired and running in less time than it took the incompatent one to remove the panels. Never Again, A Poor Experience.
They seem to be attentive and provide amazing service. They are very clean and they cleaned everything. They even gave me a coupon to make it cheaper.
My HVAC system stopped working, and I called Velocity as they were the ones that installed it 2 years ago. The tech's name is Richie, and he did a great job and was courteous an helpful. The system needed a new capacitor, but he also spent time cleaning things out and providing advice. The only reason I'm not giving it 4 stars is the fact that the AC broke down in the first place given it was only 2 years old. Parts were covered under warranty but labor wasn't, which is somewhat frustrating given I had just had Velocity do a tune up a few months earlier.
Velocity Air came out to remove water from the AC drip pan and blow out the line and reset the float. Initially I was mischarged by the AC technician however the owner contacted me and made it right. Customer service did an excellent job of processing the transaction.
I called this company to my home for a service call. Tech came on a Saturday, very nice, respectful of my home. However, mis-diagnosed the system from a $999 repair to a fuse and blower motor repair. I figured mistakes happen so I gave them another shot on my rental. They told me the system was dead and qouted me a new system. I called another service, they came the same day, turned the power on to the outside unit, changed the capacitor and system cooling in minutes. The same day they diagnosed the one unit as being dead, they performed a service on another system but never checked the freon. When the second company came and repaired the first unit, they showed me the second unit was low on freon. 3 strikes you are out!

Thanks for the Second review.The job did pass the inspection with the building department. We performed a full duct replacement in your attic in the middle of august. Our price for the job was a lot less then what the other company quoted you from what you said. The job took 8 hour because the attic was tight and the installers were on their stomachs working. We think that they did a great job, although we did make the installers come back and move one piece of duct. We hope you will consider using us in the future. thanks for the opportunity
