Reviews
Write a ReviewVelocity Air Conditioning are professionals with Outstanding customer service. They provided excellent work at a very cost efficient rate.
Good communication and good work
The installers only had to correct one task, so I give them a high rating. Whitley and Janell were professional and tried to assist me obtain the rebate that the initial technician mentioned during his initial visit/inspection. After multiple conversations with Velocity staff and TECO I learned that the $275 rebate should have been taken off the initial invoice. Because the amount was not taken off the initial invoice, Velocity would have to issue me a check for $275, and then request a refund from TECO (all rebates are issued directly to the company that installs the unit). I finally received a call from Velocity and was informed that I had received a discount on the unit and that I would not be receiving a refund from Velocity. It would have been better if the Velocity tech had not mentioned the rebate or the company understood how TECO rebates are issued. I suggest that if a Velocity technician states your purchase is eligible for a rebate, check with your electric company before work is initiated.
Unit was not repairable. Tech was brutally honest and told me not to waste my money on thousand $s of repairs that would not last. This is the type of company that I would do business with instead of others who would do a patch, take my $ and it would break again. I would definitely recommend Velocity to everyone who is looking for an honest company, who doesn't charge by the hour but has set rates for things, no matter how long theta take.
Excellent work- a little expensive
Arrived within time promised, knew who was coming in advance, courteous, friendly, & efficient
We had a complete ac system installed with a relocation of the air handler. The workers did the best job I've ever seen done, very clean and neat.
Good job. Came out on Saturday. Scheduled to come back Monday, but came back Sunday and got us up and running.
Outstanding service! Completely replaced our outdoor unit and air handler in the attic. Due to the size and configuration of our home, this wasn't an easy job. The crew that came out couldn't have been nicer, more professional or worked harder for us. The team worked SO hard - for 12 hours to get our installation done. They also reran some of the drain line and when a bad clog was encountered they'd tried everything possible to get us going. It took another trip out, but we are loving our ice cold air and MUCH more efficient System. I am almost excited to get the first power bill and see some savings! These folks have been responsive to every question and do what they say they will, when they say it. Is it expensive? Yes. But I believe you get what you pay for and these guys are worth every penny!
We purchased a complete new heating and air conditioning system from them and up to now we still have not been provided with additional items they promised including a change on our electrical panel from a 40 to a 20 volt breaker even though the installers told us if this is not changed the system will not pass the state inspection which hasn't taken place yet.
Thank you for review even though it was not positive. We do plan on getting the job inspected by the city ASAP. We tried contacting you today. The breaker that you speak of is super rare(F.P.E) and does not need to be changed . We installed a fused disconnect at the unit on the roof and there is a brand new breaker in it. Please feel free to let the job be inspected and rerate us after, don't hesitate to call us at any time.
